Valldemossa

Valldemossa is a village in the heart of the Tramuntana mountains.

Situated only 16 kilometres from Palma, it is surrounded by

orange, olive, lemon and almond trees.

Valldemossa is steeped in history with its 18th century monastery.

 

 

Frederick Chopin and his lover, French novelist George Sand,

stayed at the monastery during the winter of 1838-39.
