Reunion Fribourg...2007

Just to say that Danny and myself have left for

Fribourg. Any queries will be dealt with on Thursday.

Dear Girls and FCJ Sisters.

The next reunion is coming closer and I would be very happy if you could
make it this time - again. For those who could not come I want to let
you know that the last reunion in Paris was very special and everybody took
home a little bit of the spirit of La Chassotte especially also thanks to
the FCJ Sisters and Mlle Chesnes and teachers who attended.
Amongst our group we had the feeling we were back in school.

This coming May we are going to meet in Fribourg. La Chassotte is not on
the programme but if anybody wishes to visit I think it should be possible
even though I would not recommend it. It is very sad to see what has become of the building and
I think that they are planning to take the new part down.
(Sister Lorenza sent an email to some of us).

To be honest I prefer to speak about our programme:

We are planning a get together the first afternoon / evening around 6.30 p.m.
with some tapas and drinks. The next day we are going by bus to the
mountain called Moléson (close to Gruyère) where we will be walking to a
nice place where we will have a picnic with barbecue (please bring good
shoes and a rain coat, even though we hope not using it!!) The barbecue can
be held also in an old wooden alm we rented for that occasion if there is
rain... After that we are going to visit a cheese alm to see how they produce
cheese. Around 5 p.m. we will return to the hotel. For the evening a
cheese fondue is planned.

I hope I have convinced you a little bit more to make it this time and so
please do not forget to reserve the hotel, airplane, car etc. Make sure
that your name is on the 'participants list' once you have made the banking arrangements.
The total cost for these events is Euro 150 .
If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact me.

During our last meeting in Paris I took all your addresses and put a list
together. For those who did not give me their address please do send me the
following information: name, maiden name, address , telephone, email, time
spent in La Chassotte, Children, their names and year of birth and a photo of
yourself. I will add you on the list and bring it with me when we all meet up in Fribourg.

If you wish to book rooms at the 'NH' Hotel in Fribourg at the 'special 'La Chassotte' rate

then please do so now as by the end of February these rooms will not be available at

the prices listed below.

We will meet at 18.30 p.m. at...

First we will all register, get welcome pack, meet friends, etc.
There will be a speech and a talk about the schedule.

(Details re the trip to Gruyere will also be discussed.)

Afterwards we will have a buffet dinner with drinks etc.

Friday 11th May

Morning..Coach trip to Gruyere ..(bus leaves at 10 am) where we will have a

BBQ followed by a visit to the cheese factory.

Evening... Fondue in Fribourg.

The price for the two day event will cost 150 euro's per person

(this does not include your hotel accommodation)

If you would like to contribute more then this will go towards

the FCJ Sisters who wish to attend.
